Standing Seam Profiles We Roll-Form
All three are concealed-fastener systems: no screws through the panel face, so there is nothing to back out, rust or leak. The right one depends on your roof slope, panel length and the look you want. Not sure? Send us the roof plan and we will recommend one.
Cee-Lock (snap-lock)
- Snaps together over hidden clips, no seaming tool
- 1-1/2 in. rib; widths 12, 16 and 18 in.
- Roof slope 3:12 or steeper
- Best for homes, porches and barndominiums
Tee-Lock (capped seam)
- A cap snaps over the seam for a bold line
- 1-1/2 in. seam; widths 12, 16, 18 and 20 in.
- Rated to a 1/2:12 slope
- Best for commercial, architectural and long runs
See 3 real examples: which profile to order
Example 1: a 2,400 sq ft house in Keller with a 6:12 roof. Cee-Lock in 16" width is the usual answer. It snaps together quickly, the 1-1/2" rib reads well from the street, and the slope is far above the minimum.
Example 2: a 40x60 shop in Weatherford with a 1:12 roof. Snap-lock profiles are not rated for that slope. Order Zee-Lock and have it double-locked, or Tee-Lock with sealant in the seam. Both are rated down to 1/2:12.
Example 3: a church roof in Arlington with 54-foot rafters. Panels that long will not fit on a trailer without damage. Schedule on-site roll forming: we bring the machine and the coil to you and run each panel straight onto the roof.

Gauges, Metals and Finishes
Gauge: 24 or 26
- 24 gauge: thicker and stiffer (about 0.024 in.). The standard for commercial work and premium homes, wide panels, long runs and hail-prone areas.
- 26 gauge: lighter and lower cost (about 0.019 in.). Common on homes with 12 in. Cee-Lock, porches and outbuildings.
Finish and coating
- Galvalume base on all painted steel coil, for rust resistance.
- PVDF (Kynar 500) paint: the strongest fade and chalk resistance. Berridge standard colors are PVDF.
- Bare Galvalume: a soft silver look for barns and shops.
- Custom color match: painted to your sample; longer lead time and a minimum order.
We stock the Berridge Primary, Premium and Metallic color lines. Browse them on our Colors page, or stop by the shop to see real coil samples in daylight.

How Standing Seam Panels Are Priced in DFW
Standing seam is priced per linear foot of panel. The price depends on the gauge, the finish, the panel width (a 12 in. panel needs more seams per square than an 18 in. panel, so it uses more steel per square foot of roof), your panel lengths and the size of the order. Coil prices also change from month to month, so we price every order when you ask instead of posting numbers that go out of date.

A worked example: materials for a 30x40 shop roof
A 30x40 shop with a 4:12 gable roof has roughly 1,265 sq ft of roof surface. In 16 in. Cee-Lock that is about 950 linear feet of panel. A complete material package adds:
- Panel clips, closures and screws
- Ridge cap
- Eave trim
- Rake and gable trim
Send us your building size and roof pitch and we will price the full package, panels and trim together, in the gauge and color you choose.
Installed cost
If you are hiring a roofer, the installed price also depends on the roofer, the pitch and shape of the roof, and whether old roofing comes off first. Titan does not install roofs, but we work with roofers across DFW every day and can point you to crews that buy from us.
Need a real number? Send us the roof dimensions, pitch and profile and we will send back an itemized material quote, usually the same business day.
On-Site Roll Forming for Long Runs

Residential, Commercial and Farm & Ranch
Homeowners and custom home builders
Standing seam is the metal roof that looks like it belongs on a house: clean vertical lines, no exposed screws, and a 40-plus-year service life that outlasts two or three shingle roofs. Cee-Lock in 24 gauge is our most common residential order. See our residential page for trim, soffit and accents that match.
Contractors and commercial builders
We supply roofers and GCs with Tee-Lock and Zee-Lock panels cut to the roof, plus coping, flashing and trim packages fabricated in the same color so the whole job matches. Volume pricing is available for repeat accounts. Details on our commercial page.
Farm & ranch and metal buildings
For barns, shops and barndominiums, standing seam is a step up from exposed-fastener R-panel: no screws to re-tighten, better hail performance, and a sharper look. Pair it with our board and batten metal siding for a complete exterior. Planning a whole building? See our Design a Building page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Still unsure which panel fits your job? Call us at (817) 682-6977 or send your roof plan.
How much does a standing seam metal roof cost in Texas?
It depends on the gauge, the panel profile and width, the finish, your panel lengths and the size of the order, and coil prices change from month to month. That is why Titan quotes every order instead of posting prices. Send us your roof dimensions, pitch and the profile you want, or call (817) 682-6977, and we will send back an itemized material quote. If you are hiring a roofer, the installed price also depends on the roofer, the pitch and shape of the roof, and whether old roofing comes off first.
Where can I buy standing seam metal roofing near Fort Worth?
Titan Sheet Metal roll-forms standing seam panels at 2333 Delante in Fort Worth. We sell to contractors and the public, and offer shop pickup, DFW delivery and on-site roll forming.
What is the difference between snap-lock and mechanically seamed standing seam?
Snap-lock panels (Cee-Lock) snap together by hand over clips and are the fastest to install, but they need at least a 3:12 roof slope. Mechanically seamed panels (Zee-Lock) are crimped together with a powered seamer, which makes a tighter, stronger seam rated for slopes as low as 1/2:12 and higher wind uplift.
Should I use 24 gauge or 26 gauge?
24 gauge is thicker and stiffer, resists oil-canning on wide panels, and is the standard for commercial work and most 16" and 18" residential panels. 26 gauge costs less and is fine for 12" residential panels, porches and outbuildings. If hail is a concern, choose 24 gauge.
Can you match the color of my existing roof or trim?
Yes. We stock the full Berridge color line and can order custom-matched coil for larger jobs. Bring a sample to the shop and we will match it to the closest stock color or quote a custom run.
Do you install the roof?
No. Titan fabricates and supplies panels and trim. We work with roofing contractors across Dallas-Fort Worth and can refer you to crews that install our panels regularly.
What is the longest panel you can make?
At the shop we form panels up to trailer length for safe transport, typically 40 feet. With on-site roll forming there is no practical limit; we have formed panels well over 60 feet straight onto the roof.
How long does a standing seam metal roof last?
A 24 gauge Galvalume panel with a PVDF (Kynar 500) finish typically carries a 35- to 40-year paint warranty and a service life of 50 years or more in the North Texas climate, compared with 15 to 25 years for asphalt shingles.
