Ordering and pricing
Do you sell to homeowners, or only to contractors?
Both. Homeowners, farm and ranch owners, builders and roofing crews all buy from us. Contractors who order often can ask about account pricing.
How do I get a price?
Send us your measurements, a drawing or a photo of the job, plus the panel profile, gauge and color if you know them. Use our quote form or call (817) 682-6977, and we will send you a price.
Can you make trim from my drawing?
Yes. Send a sketch with the sizes, or a photo of the piece you need to replace. We check the bends and sizes with you before we make it.
Do you install roofs?
No. We make and supply the material. We work with roofing contractors across North Texas and can refer you to crews that install our panels.
Panels, gauges and colors
What is the difference between 24 gauge and 26 gauge?
Gauge measures how thick the steel is, and a lower number means thicker steel. 24 gauge is stiffer and holds up better to hail and on wide panels. 26 gauge costs less and works well for many homes, porches and outbuildings. Not sure which you need? Tell us about the building and we will help you choose.
What is standing seam?
Standing seam panels lock together at raised seams, and the screws are hidden under the seam. That gives a clean look and fewer places for water to get in. Exposed-fastener panels, such as R-panel, screw through the face. They cost less and are common on barns and shops.
What colors do you have?
We keep a wide range of stock colors and can match many others. See our Colors page, or come look at samples at the shop.
How long does a metal roof last?
With normal care, a metal roof can last 40 years or more, much longer than asphalt shingles. Paint and coating warranties come from the coil makers, and we can tell you what applies to your color and panel.
Do you make gutters?
Yes. We make seamless gutters run to length, with matching downspouts, in the same colors as our roofing and trim.
Pickup, delivery and on-site roll forming
Can you roll-form panels at my job site?
Yes. Our roll former comes to your site and forms one-piece panels at the exact lengths you need. We need truck access and a flat spot to set up. See on-site roll forming for details.
What is the longest panel you can make?
Panels made in our shop are limited by what can be hauled safely, typically about 40 feet. With on-site roll forming, panels can run much longer, straight from the machine to the roof.
How fast can I pick up an order?
Stock trim, screws and closures can often go the same day. Full roof packages in standard colors are typically ready in a few business days. Call ahead and we will tell you what can go today.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver across Dallas-Fort Worth, and delivery is priced by distance and load. Ask us about delivery in the Austin area.
Where are you, and when are you open?
Our Dallas-Fort Worth shop is at 2333 Delante, Fort Worth, Texas, (817) 682-6977. Our Austin location is at 7620 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX 78752, (512) 810-9745. Both are open Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm.
